SierraSierra is our main product. It is Golf Tournament Management at its finest. The purchase includes the software, customization of the software to add the facility's tee definitions, facility scorecard dimensions, default logo, and default phrase. It also includes a year of unlimited tech support and upgrades. System recommendations for Sierra are Windows XP, Vista or Win7 and a processor speed of 2GZ or higher. Sierra requires that Microsoft Office 2000 SR1 or more recent be installed. Sierra is a full-featured, windows based golf tournament management system developed by golf professionals for golf professionals. The system imports player names from handicap systems and provides sophisticated pairing and handicap calculation tools to create tournament groups, tee times, and hole assignments. Player information is displayed in an intuitive, spreadsheet like interface which pulls player data from robust, underlying databases. The player list is used to create scoreboards, cart signs, scorecards, and reports. Commands to create proximity markers, posters, payout calculations, and tee-sponsorship signs are also present. Post play, the system's scoring module displays live results on TV-like presentation leader boards and prints results, including calculated payouts, in reports and on gift certificates. Other special features included with the software are a pari-mutuel program and a scoring only module that allows multiple computers to enter scores simultaneously. Sierra utilizes Tournament Expert's unique "any font, any color" technology that lets the user apply any font or color to its printouts to create an unlimited number of looks.
